This is the best product on the market, never have I used a sealer that beads water and prevents staining from oils like this 8505 oil repellent! Even though it is pricey – it is worth every penny. The ultra concentrated version makes the price a little easier to swallow since there is a about a $20 discount per gallon.

  2. Lukle

I was debating whether to go with the oil additive version-the 8505 or the other one-the 8500, but since i have cars coming in and out of my driveway frequently visiting I decided to use the 8505 where the cars park and the 8500 on the rest of the driveway. they are both clear and natural finishes and you couldn’t even tell where one product ended and the other began. I would have loved to use the 8505 on my whole driveway but it just wasn’t in my budget so using the two products was a good alternative. Company has great support and customer service!

  3. JOEy

Used in my garage where my wife and I park our cars and no spalling or oil stains since this past winter, rated four stars instead of five because I cant comment as to longevity yet.

  4. ELI

Too early to tell on performance, but shipping was fast, package arrived in one piece and it was easy to use

  5. H

    Easy to use: Yes
    Clear: Yes
How to get it onto the concrete: Sprayer
Would I recommend it to others: Yes

  6. Jason

Easy to use, easy clean up, beads water what more can you ask

I was a little nervous whether or not I would be able to use the concentrate myself but it was a lot easier than I thought it would be. I used it on my back yard paver patio were I have my grill to prevent any stains from the grease. Seems to be working great so far. If I can do it anyone can do it.

  8. Xi

I was stuck on the differences of the 8500 and the 8505 and then I learned that the 8505 has extra stain additive and I chose it. Havent had any spills yet so I will update later on, for now it was good.

  9. Laurie

Paid for the express shipping because my husband tells me I am a procrastinator and of course I waited until until the Thursday before the weekend we had to do the actual sealing. Other than the cost of that the product itself seems to be working well, we are what you would call “green” so we chose this one over the solvent one because it was water based.

  10. Wallace

Pros: Instructions right on the back of the label, it was available concentrated so it was cheaper than going with 5 single gallons, free shipping, easy to use, water does actually repel. Cons: My daughter parked her car and oil leaked, it stained, but stains came out when I pressure washed. That being said I didn’t realize oil had leaked so it was a good week or so before I cleaned it. Called the company and they said the product does have time limitations. I decided to go with the 8505 instead of the 8510 because it was less money, maybe I should have gone with the 8510?

  11. Leigh

Free fast shipping and product did not arrive damage.

  12. Neil

I know everyone says to use a sprayer but I used a roller and it worked fine for me. Used on my driveway which is broom finished and my garage. Use the Lithitek 4500 first as a primer like they said to do and then used this. In case you are wondering you mix the concentrate with water (I called and they recommend distilled water). Driveway looks the same as before but the water beads, tested some oil on it and let it sit. It did end up going into the concrete but when I hosed it off it came right out.

  13. B

Was stuck between ordering the 8505 and the 8510 but ultimately I decided to go with the 8505 because it was cheaper. Hopefully I made the right decision…
